10.14.15 Vertu Studio was officially invited to exhibit at the 2016 Venice Biennale, as part of the Global Art Affairs Foundation's  Architecture exhibition.  After much thought, we decided to decline.

 

09.11.15 Our proposed presentation at the 2016 National AIA convention in Philadelphia passed round one of evaluation and we'll find out at the beginning of November if we'll be giving a 1hr presentation titled "Evolutionary Solvers as an Architectural Design Tool"

 

06.25.15 - 08.06.15 VS principal Jenda Michl created, produced, and co-curated an exhibit of art by architects titled Hidden ARTifacts: The Architectural Process at the Building Bridges Art Gallery in Santa Monica's Begramot Station. 

 

10.08.14 Our newly completed Sparadise project is complete, and open!  Check out our pictures of it on our commercial work page.

1.27.14 New Project: Vertu Studio has been commissioned to design an all new hillside deck system and garage/art studio for a home in the shadows of the famous Hollywood sign.

 

10.26.13 Our Flexsit Bench is back on exhibit, this time at the Terrell Moore Gallery in Downtown LA, stop by, see some great art, and experience "One of the most innovative, not to mention comfortable, benches perhaps ever invented". We are always looking for where to install the Flexsit Bench next; leads are appreciated and we offer a finders fee of 25% if you help us find a venue!

 

7.1.13 Our Melody Lounge project was the subject of an article in LA Magazine's July issue.  Our design blends chinese flavors with contemporary design to create a luxurious haven to escape from the bustle and grit of LA life. Various design strategies were employed to alter patrons' perception of space and reality. Please visit it at 939 N. Hill St. and grab a tasty brew!
