Principal - Jenda Michl, Assoc AIA, LEED AP

Drawing floor plans at age 5, Jenda was destined for architecture, by way of environmental studies. He gained experience at award winning architecture firms in Dallas, Boston, and Los Angeles on a wide variety of public and private projects before founding Vertu Studio. Jenda has also worked on the construction side, as a project engineer and LEED consultant for the Topanga Library in LA County. His passion for design has led to publication by Dwell, Los Angeles Magazine, The Architects' Guide to Glass and Metal, and others, as well as invitations to critique student work on final design reviews at USC, the Art Center College of Design, Roger Williams University, and the Boston Architectural Center.
